Bamboo Matchstick Table Runner

Description

Product Overview

This matchstick-style table runner is made from carbonised bamboo rods, woven together with a strong thread. It measures 70 inches in length and 13 inches in width, making it suitable for most standard dining tables and kitchen islands.

The carbonised finish gives the bamboo a deeper, warmer tone that works well with both modern and traditional interiors. It offers a practical layer between your table surface and hot plates, serving dishes, or everyday tableware, helping to prevent scuffs and marks from building up over time.

It is supplied as a single runner, ready to lay flat across your table.

Key Features

• Carbonised bamboo construction – Each runner is made from thin bamboo rods that have been heat-treated to deepen their colour and enhance their natural grain.
• Woven with durable thread – The rods are held together with a strong binding thread, designed to keep the runner intact through regular daily use.
• Natural, renewable material – Bamboo is a fast-growing, highly renewable resource, making this a more environmentally considerate choice than synthetic alternatives.
• Easy to keep clean – A quick shake over the sink or bin removes crumbs and loose debris, while a damp cloth handles anything that sticks.
• Simple protection for your table – Lay it under plates, bowls, and serving dishes to reduce direct contact with your table surface and help prevent long-term wear.

Suitable For

This table runner suits anyone who wants a natural, understated look for their dining area without the formality of a fabric tablecloth. It works well for:

• Everyday family meals where tables see heavy use.
• Kitchen islands and breakfast bars.
• Hosting casual dinners or buffets where extra table protection is useful.
• Those who prefer natural materials and want to reduce plastic or synthetic textiles in their home.

Care Information

To keep your runner in good condition, shake it over a bin or sink to remove loose food particles. For any marks or spills, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely before storing. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water or excessive moisture, as this may affect the bamboo over time. Colour may vary slightly between batches due to the natural characteristics of bamboo.

Customer Support

We are happy to answer any questions you have before ordering.
